Providing excellent care services for individuals who are mentally and physically challenged utilizing all available resources. Developing positive and measurable programs to provide "skill-building training" to individuals that require a degree of assistance due to mental disability; encompassing individualized assistance and focusing on "person-centered planning". Goal of MHS to Meet Clients’ Needs
Our goal is to provide all referred clients with an appropriate assessment of their eligibility to receive services in accordance with all applicable state guidelines. BOH will provide mental health support services that meet the following:
Improve and maintain the client’s level of functioning and independent living skills associated with the targeted behaviors.
Increase age appropriate skills related to peer interaction, socialization, independent living skills, identification of feelings, and self-expression.
Provide opportunities for each client to receive support and skills training.
Develop and maintain a plan of safety with regard to clients in the program.
Provide quality, comprehensive and culturally competent services which are age appropriate, to respond to the unique needs of each client.
Retain a professional staff who can effectively address the unique needs of the clients.
Strengthening the clients skills and developing the environmental supports necessary to sustain the individual actively and independently in their community as possible.
Encouraged to participate as fully in life choices and decision in order to achieve a sense of control and self-esteem that leads to a sense of responsibility and ownership in the community integration process.
